Just a few weeks after the first robot manicure system debuted, a new device has landed. On Thursday, November 20, LUUM—the world’s first AI-powered lash extension robot launched at Nordstrom’s Flagship store in New York City. Developed by LUUM, Inc., the robot can give you a full set of lashes in a fraction of the time of a typical appointment. What does that mean exactly? According to a recent press release, LUUM’s next-gen device applies lashes to both eyes simultaneously, cutting down the time you spend in the chair. Instead of a 75-minute session, which is about the time of a standard appointment, LUUM’s robot aims to finish in 33 minutes. However, it’s not just about the time.
