Cover FX Cover FX, the complexion-focused makeup brand known for its inclusive shade ranges and skin-sensitive formulas, has officially closed, bringing an end to a 25-year run in the beauty industry. As announced on the brand’s Instagram account, the beloved makeup-meets-skin-care line cited “new challenges,” including “tariffs and a global shifting market” and shared that it will begin to “wind down business.” Founded in 1999 by chemist Victor Casale and Lee Graff, Cover FX began in a Toronto medical clinic with a mission that was ahead of its time: to create high-performance makeup suitable for sensitive, compromised and post-procedure skin.
