Before heading out with your favorite travel-size beauty minis in tow, though, there’s one small-but-satisfying beauty appointment worth booking: a fresh manicure. The only question is what shade to choose. “This June and throughout the summer season, manicure trends are moving toward softer, clean-looking shades combined with brighter accent colors,” says Kansas nail artist, educator, judge and founder of Slynko Beauty Bloom Studio Maryna Slynko. “Semi-sheer textures, glossy finishes and tones that enhance the natural appearance of the nails are becoming especially popular.”
