But they’re not the same. To break down what each approach means, what sets them apart and why the distinction matters, we turned to the experts. Microdosing refers to administering small amounts of a drug while still gaining benefits. “For GLP-1 medications, that means strategic use to support quieting food noise without making your appetite disappear,” says registered dietician Sahar Berjis, founder of InnerHealth and Wellness.
