As the new month settles in and the days dim, Roberts’ new shade feels like a deliberate, light-infused moment. Her colorist, Kadi Lee of Highbrow Hippie, says the seasonal contrast was exactly the point. “As the days get colder and darker, hair should take the opposite approach and lean towards sunnier, richer, more vibrant tones to counteract the shift,” Lee explains. “Warmth is the driving factor, and is really universally flattering against a myriad of skin tones.” Roberts’ new tone—a dimensional, sunny golden copper—marks a soft but noticeable transition from her signature deeper auburn.
