Beauty editors and nail aficionados alike whispered about it and flocked there after work and before cocktails. In the years since, the brand has expanded into consumer-facing press-on nails, polish and more, now sold at Target and beyond. As its footprint has grown, nail behemoth KISS Beauty Group—the parent company of KISS, Falscara and imPRESS—has stepped in to acquire the company. Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton, Chillhouse’s founder and CEO, announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday, January 6. “I’m beyond honored to officially share our strategic partnership between Chillhouse and Kiss Beauty Group,” she wrote in a caption accompanying a screenshot of a WWD article. “A brand I’ve long admired for their pioneering work in the space we now proudly occupy & one with many parallels to our origin story…
